ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Where to fly into
Florence is the closest airport to the wedding venue. Pisa may be a cheaper option if you’re connecting within Europe. We encourage you to look at flights early for the best deal.
-
Car Rentals
There are car rentals at both the Pisa and Florence airports. If you’re planning on driving in Italy, you will require an international driving permit.
For Canadians, this can be obtained from a CAA location. The form to fill out is linked below: https://www.bcaa.com/-/media/bcaa/pdfs/travel/idp-application-form-20251201.pdf?sc_lang=en

ETIAS
European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is a new, mandatory pre-travel screening for visa-exempt travelers entering 30 European nations, launching in late 2026. It is not a visa but a digital authorization linked to a passport, valid for 3 years, allowing short stays up to 90 days. Guests will need to apply for this prior to entering Italy.

Sleeping Arrangement
We have done our absolute best to pair everyone with friends and/or family. We will be reaching out via email with a sleeping plan and the guests in each apartment. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out and we’ll do what we can to make everybody as comfortable as possible!
-
Food & Drink
A welcome dinner (pizza party) will be provided on September 19th (Arrival Day). Please provide your own beer and wine.
Appetizers, Dinner, and drinks will be provided on September 20th (Wedding Day), starting at approximately 3 PM.
For all other meals, please plan accordingly. Each apartment is fitted with a full kitchen including fridge, stove, etc. There are a few mini grovcery stores nearby. However, we suggest stopping in Florence for groceries prior to arrival.
-
Our Plan (Grace + Adam)
We will be arriving in Florence approximately 5 days prior to the festivities (September 14th). We have a few action items we need to take care of before the wedding.
Afterwards, we will be heading off on our honeymoon somewhere in Europe (TBD).
-
Stag / Hen Party
There is absolutely no pressure to join, however we are tentatively planning a joint stag / hen party in Florence (Mamma Mia style) a few days before the wedding festivities (approx. September 16th - TBD). If your travel plans can accommodate a few days in Florence, we would be honoured if you would join us for dinner and a night on the town. All are welcome!
-
Suggested Attire
If anybody has questions on what to wear, feel free to send us a text or email and we will be happy to share a mood board. We would love it if everyone would dress up for the welcome dinner as well :)
